We keep it simple. The only personal information we collect is the email address you use to create your account. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers, and we do not sell or share your information.
Your email is used only to identify your account and for essential account-related messages (such as password resets). Your in-game progress and characters are saved to your account so you can keep playing.
To run the game and protect it from abuse, our servers necessarily process your device’s IP address during your session for connection, security, and anti-cheat (for example, rate-limiting and blocking abusive clients). We do not use it to track you, and we retain it only briefly for security and debugging.
You can request access to, or deletion of, your account and email at any time by contacting ruusey@gmail.com. OpenRealm is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
