License and Prohibited Conduct

OpenRealm and its client, artwork, audio, data files, and the network protocol used to communicate with OpenRealm servers (collectively, the “Software”) are the exclusive property of Robert Usey (the “Owner”) and are protected by copyright law and international treaties. The Software is licensed, not sold.

Grant. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Owner grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the official OpenRealm client solely to play OpenRealm. No other rights are granted; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Except as expressly permitted above, and consistent with the OpenRealm license, you may NOT:

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the Software, or any portion of it, is strictly prohibited, is a material breach of these Terms, and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties, and/or violate anti-circumvention (e.g., 17 U.S.C. § 1201) and computer-misuse laws. Violators will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under applicable law. The Owner may suspend or terminate your account and access at any time for any violation.

No Warranty

The Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the Owner be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the Software or its use.
